We meet regularly
Sessions run on a steady schedule so you can plan around them. Dates, times, and locations live on the calendar.

Everyone is mid-draft
First-timers sit beside people on their fourth manuscript. Nobody has to arrive with something finished.

Feedback you can use
We read closely and respond to what the writer is actually trying to do — specific, kind, and honest.

What to expect
A typical meeting runs about two hours. We open with a short check-in, spend most of the time on member work circulated in advance, and close with an optional prompt or a round of what everyone is reading. You are welcome to come and just listen the first time — plenty of people do.
There is no application and no audition. Bring a notebook or a laptop, bring pages or don't, and see whether the room suits you.
Who it's for
- Writers looking for a deadline and a few honest readers.
- People returning to writing after a long gap.
- Anyone in the Stratford area who would rather write in company than alone.
Send us a note if you'd like to come to the next session, or check the calendar for what's coming up.
